Windows 10 Keyboard Shorcuts

Here is a list of Windows 10 shortcuts


You now have more control over snapping windows in Windows 10

  • Windows Key + Left = Snap window to left side
  • Windows Key + Right = Snap window to right side
  • Windows Key + Up = Snap window to top of the screen
  • Windows Key + Down = Snap window to bottom of screen

  • You can now use of combination of Windows Key + Left and Windows key + right to snap a window into the top left quadrant. This now allows you to snap windows into a 2 x 2 grid.

  • Windows Key + Tab = This now opens the new Task View interface which is quite nice

  • Windows 10 has now introduced Virtual Desktop which is great for people who have a low of programs running at the same time.

    One way of using this is to click the task view button in your taskbar and then select "New Desktop"

    The Keyboard shortcuts for this are:

  • Windows Key + Ctrl + D = Creates a new virtual desktop
  • Windows Key + Ctrl + F4 = Closes the current virtual desktop
  • Windows Key + Ctrl + Left/Right = Switch between virtual desktops
