It can be useful to know when a PC was shutdown and the event viewer can allow us to see this.
Open Event Viewer and go to Windows Logs --> System
Click on Filter Current Log...
Then input the event ID's to filter 6005, 6006, 6009
Event ID 6006 is the computer shuting down and 6005 and 6009 are the computer starting back up.
