MSinfo32 is a handy program that you can run to get some detailed information about your computer.
Open Windows Run and type in msinfo32 to bring up the program. With this program you can see such things as OS version, BIOS version, Processor, RAM and even things such as what driver the GPU is using. There is loads of information if you drill down on the options.
One of the great things about MSInfo32 is that you can connect it to a remote computer in your domain which is a great way to get info on a user's computer without needed to remote desktop into it.
With MSInfo32 open select from the toolbar "View" then "Remote Computer"
Then enter in the name of the remote computer.
