serial number from powershell

Although you can usually just check the back of a PC for the serial number sometimes for a laptop you will have to remove the battery to be able to see it.

Luckily without even needing to turn off the laptop using PowerShell you can find out the serial number:

Get-WmiObject -ComputerName "computer name" -Class Win32_BIOS
(Replace computer-name with the correct name)
